Becoming a secondary school or vocational teacher is something you're increasingly thinking about. But retraining is quite a step. Ideally, you'd like to be in the classroom right away. The lateral entry program for a second-degree teaching qualification makes that possible. This program combines work and study. You'll work as a teacher and attend classes at the HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht one day a week. Do you already have a teaching qualification? Then you can also obtain another qualification through the lateral entry program.
